What We Do
Real drone learning for school students.
DRONIAC is a tech initiative which deals in educating school going children about drones. From understanding the basics of drone making to working with the more advanced forms of drones, we expose children to real-life drone usage applications.
The most exciting part of the curriculum is to teach children how to fly a drone and certify them with a completion certificate of Drone Flying Course with real-time flight time logging for proper records of the training.
Successful completion of the Making and Flying Drones trainings, i.e. DM-I and DF-I, ensures the entry of the student into our Drone Flying Club, where they can participate in drone flying tournaments and showcase their drone flying skills.
We teach students mainly by mentoring and guiding rather than lecturing and spoon-feeding. Students learn by doing, making, testing, and flying.

Progressive courses from first build to FPV flight.
Minimum Flight Time: 20 Minutes
Beginner Course: DM-I
- Building a nano drone using coreless motors and combination receiver boards.
- Flying the self-made drone with a flight time of at least 20 minutes and up to 2 hours.
- Flight hours and data logging in a flight logbook.
- Course Duration: 2-3 Weeks.
After the course: Course Completion Certificate with Beginner Flyer Badge.
Minimum Flight Time: 20 Minutes
Intermediate Course: DM-II
- Building a drone using Q450/F450 frame.
- HGLRC/APM Flight Controller, Brushless Motors, ESCs, transmitter and receiver.
- Flight calibration using Betaflight, iNAV, or ArduPilot.
- ESC calibration, soldering basics, power module, batteries, bench testing, flight testing, flight training, and flight logging.
After the course: Course Completion Certificate with Drone Maker and Flyer Badge.
Minimum Flight Time: 20 Minutes
Advanced Course: DM-III
- Ground station for flight log generation and monitoring.
- Pressure sensor, GPS with magnetometer, Lidar, and HC-SR04 installation.
- Automatic waypoint navigation using Mission Planner or iNAV.
- Off-board flight integration with Arduino Uno, Return to Home, and advanced flight controller options.
After the course: Advanced Maker + Flyer Badge and DRONIAC Mentor Status Badge.
Minimum Flight Time: 60 Minutes
FPV Course: DM-FPV
- Making an FPV racing drone with high-speed motors, ESCs, FPV goggles, VTX, and related hardware.
- Simulator flight training: minimum 60 minutes.
- Actual flight training: minimum 60 minutes and up to 20 hours.
- Flight logging, advanced electronics, advanced soldering, and FPV flight competition.
After the course: FPV Flyer and Drone Expert Badge with DRONIAC Mentor Status Badge.
